Introducing the MicroFogger 5 pro

After years of research and development, we’re proud to finally unveil the MicroFogger 5 Pro. This is a radical new direction for our mini smoke machines as the 5th generation features a completely new design, with an improved smoke generation technology that allows for unparalleled reliability and performance. Let’s take a look at the main improvements!

Hot-swappable fluid tank
One of the most notable features of the MicroFogger 5 Pro is its vastly improved fluid tank design. Unlike previous versions, the fluid tank assembly can be removed from the MicroFogger in seconds, allowing for easy hot-swapping or storage. This also means that keeping fog liquid inside the fluid tank is no longer an issue, as it is stored disconnected from the MicroFogger unit. This makes the storing procedure very simple, just turn it off and unscrew the fluid tank – no more fiddling around with pouring out liquid or worrying about leaks.

Removable, rechargeable battery
You’ve asked and we’ve delivered! The new case houses a removable and replaceable battery, that can either be charged inside the device or using an external charger. This means that you can continuously use the MicroFogger all day, without having to wait for the internal batteries to re-charge. In order to swap the battery, simply twist the compartment cap to open it. Each MicroFogger 5 comes with a battery pre-installed, but more can be purchased separately.

Leak-Proof airflow channel
If you’ve had one of our earlier MicroFoggers, you’ll know that it was very important to occasionally eject excess fog liquid from within the heating coil, to prevent re-condensation within the device. This is no longer required on the MicroFogger 5 Pro. The new design prevents liquid from ever entering the airflow channel, making the MicroFogger 5 the most reliable smoke machine on the market.

Stronger materials
The first time you pickup a MicroFogger 5, you’ll immediately feel just how sturdy it is. The front bulkhead is made entirely from stainless steel, while the rest of the housing is 3D printed from an impact-resistant, high temperature polymer. The new internals also remove the need for an airflow intake, increasing dust resistance.

New electronics
The 2x larger onboard screen makes it easier than ever to navigate the improved setting menus and see relevant information at a glance. We’ve also added a number of sensors to improve the safety and performance of the MicroFogger. These include 3 temperature sensors for various sections of the device, a moisture sensor to detect leaks and a current sensor to detect heating coil errors. The temperature readout is shown on the main menu, and will prevent you from over-heating the MicroFogger if you use it continuously for too long.

Updated connections
Keeping up with the latest standards, the MicroFogger 5 uses a USB type-C port for charging and triggering. When it comes to seamlessly powering and controlling upcoming accessories such as lights and diffusers, we’ve included a front-facing accessory port, under the tank cover.

High Pressure capability
The new airflow design within the MicroFogger permits it to generate significant pressure on the outlet port. This opens up a new world of opportunities such as the ability to generate smoke bubbles underwater with a hose or to pressure-test automotive air tubes and see the smoke venting from leaking areas. You can also make large soap bubbles using some soapy water!

2 year warranty
When it comes to saying the MicroFogger 5 is the most reliable smoke machine on the market, we’re ready to back it up with more than just words. Each MicroFogger 5 Pro comes with a 2 year warranty on all parts (excluding consumables such as the battery, heating coils and liquid). The highly modular design means that each part within the device can be replaced in under 2 minutes, using just a screwdriver. This minimizes downtime should anything ever go wrong and allows us to provide you with new and improved components, without ever having to ship the device back to us.

The MicroFogger 5 Pro is offered in two configurations: a basic kit that includes everything you need to get started and an ultimate kit that adds in all of our popular accessories as well as a carrying case for easy transport. As with our previous generations, the MicroFogger 5 Pro will soon be complimented with a more basic and affordable MicroFogger 5 Lite which is due to become available in Q4 of this year.
