MicroFogger control cable and breakout board

$15.00

A cable with a breakout board to expand the functionality of your MicroFogger

SKU: MF-CC Category:

Description

An easy-to-use control cable with breakout board which will allow you to interface your MicroFogger to a switch or microcontroller of your choice such as an Arduino.  This can be particularly useful when building costumes and props in order to integrate the MicroFogger into a larger system. The control board components come un-soldered so you’ll need to solder the two headers and optional switch yourself. The 4 pins which are available via this accessory serve the following functions:

-Common ground
-Signal input (to trigger the MicroFogger)
-Charging (to charge the MicroFogger from a power supply)

Only on MicroFogger 4 and earlier:
-Battery voltage of the MicroFogger (allows for power draw of up to 500mA)

Please note that this is an advanced item so any damage caused by improper wiring/soldering will not be covered by our warranty.

Great customer service & fast shipping. Unfortunately I cannot review the product yet as I’m still working on the install, but I’m sure I’ll be happy with it.

I love that this cable was available to purchase. I was able to solder the wires to a manual button controller, which was my first time, and it worked beautifully! Can’t wait to use it more often!

Having the ability to tie directly into the trigger mechanism is AMAZING! I have this soldered to a microcontroller to trigger smoke along with lights and sound.
