The Smartest Smoke Machine

The time has come! We know a lot of you have been months for the MicroFogger 2 to come back in stock but we’ve got something much, much better in store for you. Today, we’re delighted to introduce the MicroFogger 3 Pro. This will be out high-end mini smoke machine that will complement our more affordable MicroFogger 3 Lite. What makes it better? let’s show you:

The main difference you’ll immediately notice is the presence of an onboard display screen. This allows us to clearly display the smoke speed and density levels whereas before, you’d need to remember these. Similarly, battery levels and and error messages are now much easier to understand. What we’re really excited about is the advanced menu that the screen has allowed us to implement. Here, we’ve added many new features that will greatly expand the functionality of the MicroFogger. Here are a few of the main ones, as well as potential use cases for each. Hover over each of the images below to see.

Continous mode

set the amount of time you’d like the MicroFogger to keep running for after you’ve pressed the button. Use case: activate the MicroFogger and place it in a prop cauldron or pot. Cover it with a lid and allow the MicroFogger to fill it up with smoke. When you take the lid off, enjoy the supernatural mist spilling out!

Delay mode

set the time between pressing the button and the MicroFogger starting to smoke (must be used with continuous mode turned on). Use case: set the delay to 3 minutes and the continuous mode to 10 seconds. Place behind a co-worker’s computer and walk away. Film their reaction to seeing their computer start smoking. (prank people at your own risk!)

Loop mode

Set how many cycle repetitions the MicroFogger will do (must be used with delay and continuous mode turned on). Use case: Set the delay to 1 minute, continuous mode to 10 seconds and loop to 10. Place the MicroFogger in the corner of a film set and it’ll automatically generate and maintain a haze effect.

This smart functionality is a first for the smoke machine industry as previously, you’d need to buy dedicated controllers to program this. Soon, we’ll be releasing some very exciting accessories that take advantage of this functionality but in the meanwhile, we can’t wait to see how you’ll use the MicroFogger!

There is also a number of other useful settings:

RC channel select – Allows you to remote control up to 4 sets of MicroFoggers individually.
Safety time limit disable – turns off all safety limits. Use at your own risk
RC disable – Prevents remote control activation/interference during performances
Charge lock – Allows you to enable/disable smoke production while charging
RC re-programming – Allows you to connect the MicroFogger to any 433mhz remote control

The integrated remote control receiver inside the MicroFogger has also gotten an upgrade. You’ll now be able to control it from up to 30m away and from behind several standard house walls or one metal/concrete wall. This gives you much greater flexibility in mounting location.

As with the previous version, you’re able to independently adjust the speed and density of the smoke coming out. We’ve increased the number of steps for each of these settings to 8 so you’ll have finer control to achieve the exact effect you desire.

Apart from that, the smoke production rate and overall dimensions are the same as on the MicroFogger 3 Lite. This means that all of our existing accessories work with this new version as well. Although not as apparent initially, the long term reliability of the MicroFogger 3 Pro has been greatly improved when compared to the MicroFogger 2.
