Versatility
We’ve designed the MicroFogger to be easily built it into props, displays and SFX sets. New battery design
The all-new, high power battery is now removable, letting you run the MicroFogger all day, with minimal downtime. Batteries can be charged externally or inside the MicroFogger using the USB C cable.

After years of research and development, we think we’ve finally made the perfect smoke machine: the MicroFogger 5 Pro! Featuring a completely redesigned layout and new smoke generation technology, this is by far the most reliable (and leak-proof) smoke machine on the market, providing you with limitless use for years to come. The new hot-swappable fluid tank assembly and replaceable battery mean that you can use it all day, with virtually no downtime. As with our previous models, the 5 Pro generates enough smoke to fill an average living room with a safe, odorless smoke in about 1-2 minutes, and doesn’t need any heat up time unlike traditional devices. I have used Version 4 Pro for a couple years and this version 5 Pro is a far superior upgrade — and 4 Pro was already very good. It does not leak fluid and is designed so that it won’t. It seems more powerful than the Version 4 — greater volume of output on the max setting. I have used it to fill a fairly large room with a light haze with about five minutes of 10 seconds on and 2-3 seconds off bursts. It didn’t overheat — seemed fine. I’ve only had it a couple weeks now and haven’t done more than testing but so far so good. Definitely am pleased and based on my prior two years with Vosentech (including very responsive and excellent service) I have no doubt that is will perform very well. Highly recommend it. I work in the film industry and have seen a lot of special effects foggers/hazers large and small. This one definitely fills the portable, versatile and compact niche. Nothing can touch it in this price range or even double that. Highly recommended.

I work in the film industry and have used Vosentech Microfogger 4 Pro for the past two-plus years for smoke effects where I needed a very localized, controllable effect of smoke. For example, I had a shot where I needed smoke tendrils rising from some burnt rubble. I had two Microfogger 4 Pros tucked behind set elements with silicon tubes running five to six feet from them to the rubble and operated them via wireless remote. The foggers are only about 4 inches tall, so are easy to hide. The foggers worked perfectly, take after take. The fog juice was refilled a couple times. Battery life was adequate for many 8-12 second bursts throughout the shoot day (with a short recharge during a set change on one of the foggers). On another shot, I was able to direct fog (to simulate smoke) coming from an actor’s clothing, again by wireless remote. I was able to rig the microfogger in a heat-shielded pouch and again ran silicon tube inside the clothing. There was no noticeable heat coming from the tubing or fog. The actor was surprised and commented that he sensed no heat. I have used them for localized smoke effects when I didn’t need to use larger fog machines or hazers.
As to service, I have received excellent, “far beyond the call of duty” service from Vosentech. Even when one of my machines was at the end of its warranty period, Ivan sent me a replacement main board for one of them. He gave me store credit as well. I can’t thank him enough for his care, advice and attention. I have since added a Microfogger Pro 5 to our fog effects tools. I am very pleased with this line. I have used Look Tiny, Mole’s old portable fogger (the converted insecticide fogger, discontinued for some years now). I have used other small devices and found the Vosentech filling a niche for small, portable and versatile devices. It’s the type of machine you can use to walk across the set before rolling and get an instant fog effect, such as a wisp of ground fog or similar. I highly recommend these machines. They probably do more, but these are my experiences. I haven’t yet checked them for a haze effect, but apparently by lessening the volume and adjusting the fan speed, you can achieve a passable haze effect, though localized. Don’t expect to fill a large venue, but you can fill a living room size set easily, or as I did once, an engine room of a WWII ship. Again, I highly recommend them. They work and work well.

The fog machine is working quite good, but…
…it’s TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE to use it in movies.
I am a french professional property master since years, the fog machine is SOOOO noisy !!
Even with the fan sets to zero, the machine is really TOO NOISY ! It’s impossible to use it in a movie if you have to record sound.
but a movie is images… and sound… =(
If you use the onboard fan, of course, it’s even worst !
I can give 4 or 5 stars if you want to use it only for photo shoot but, really, if you want to simulate a little smoke source with actors quite close to the fog machine and you want to record the dialogs : it’s really impossible.

This is my third version of the MicroFogger and it just gets better and better. The 5 Pro produces an incredible, surprising amount of fog, and the ability to control so many aspects is a godsend! I’ve used it in almost a hundred live performances, so far, and it has never failed to do exactly what I need it to do.
