MicroFogger 2 updates

Starting in late April 2020, we will now be shipping updated MicroFogger 2’s, nicknamed the “2.1” version. The MicroFogger 2 has already been released for almost a year and the feedback we’ve received has been fantastic however we’ve noticed that some users have been reporting a decrease in battery life over time as well as some rare stability issues in the programming. The MicroFogger 2.1 fixes these concerns and improves on the existing design to provide you with the best possible experience. Here’s the full change-log:

-The metal tripod mount insert is now replaced with a pre-molded plastic slot and moved to the frontal part on the bottom of the case to make way for the toggle switch.

-A robust power toggle switch has been added to the bottom of the casing. When in the off position, the battery is completely disconnected from the device. This also means that the MicroFogger needs to be turned on to charge.

-2 new circuit board jumper slots have been added for advanced users. These will allow you to disable the continuous-use safety time limit and the coil error detection.

-The main trigger button is now more tactile and easy-to-press than before as per some user’s requests. You will hear an audible click when it is pressed.

-The bottom of the casing now has a high-grip texture to replace the previous mirror-like finish. This is done for both practical and aesthetic purposes

-The 5-click on/off functionality of the main button has been now been assigned to toggling whether the device is in standby mode or not. Standby mode is now indicated by a red top LED and while activated, the MicroFogger will not respond to smoke trigger inputs.

-Long-term battery health has been greatly improved and no noticeable decrease in battery life will occur while the device is turned off even if left for many months
